● Steps to install
IMVU is an online community where members use 3D avatars to meet new people, chat, create and play games with their friends. IMVU has reached 50 million registered users. You can play games, dress up your avatar, shop, decorate your room, create your own personalized look, and connect with new people around the wor. Minimum Requirements Recommended; Internet Connection.: Cable or DSL: Cable or DSL: Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9 or better: the latest official Apple release of macOS: Computer Processor: 1.5 GHz Intel based Mac: 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or above: Computer Memory: 1 GB or more: 4 GB or more: Screen Resolution: 1024x768 pixels: 1024x768 pixels.
Click Open.
Drag the IMVU logo onto your Applications folder to begin installation.
A pop up window will appear informing you that the IMVU Desktop App is installing.
After installation, right click on IMVU installer (on your Desktop) and then on Eject “IMVU”. Now, you can delete the .dmg file from your “Downloads” folder.

- Double click on the IMVU icon in your Applications folder or open Launchpad to launch the IMVU Desktop App.
- You will be asked to open it, click Open.
To log in, enter your avatar name or email address, and your password.
